| Integrating AI Tools into Teaching Practices: Teacher Perspectives and Pedagogical Innovations |

| Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing educational environments, offering tools that promise to enhance teaching efficiency, personalize student learning, and foster innovative pedagogical practices. Despite the potential, the integration of AI into classrooms is not yet fully understood from the perspective of educators who implement these technologies daily. This qualitative study explores teachers’ perceptions of AI tools and identifies the pedagogical innovations emerging from their use. Twenty K-12 teachers participated in semi-structured interviews to share their experiences, challenges, and insights regarding AI adoption. The findings reveal that AI tools are perceived positively for improving efficiency, enabling personalized instruction, and fostering collaborative learning, while challenges such as ethical concerns, lack of professional development, and technical limitations persist. The findings also revealed several pedagogical innovations facilitated by AI, including student-centered learning, adaptive instruction, collaborative projects, and data-driven decision-making. The study contributes to understanding how AI reshapes teaching practices and offers recommendations for teacher training, policy development, and future research in AI-enhanced education. |
